Easton Sports, Incorporated is a privately owned manufacturer, marketer and distributor of many types of sporting equipment and is currently headquartered in Van Nuys, California. It presently employs over 1,000 people worldwide in many distribution, manufacturing, sales and marketing positions. Alternate operations are located out of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mexico and Canada.
In 1922, the founder, Doug Easton, began manufacturing custom wood bows and cedar arrows in Watsonville, California. Easton produced tournament-grade cedar arrows for the archery champions of that era, but was not happy with the inconsistency and lack of uniformity of wood shafts. In 1939, he started manufacturing aluminum arrows in Los Angeles, California.
With the use of aluminum, Easton has since added Baseball/Softball, Ice Hockey, and Bicycling to its list of sports that it supplies equipment for.
Easton is a significant player in the world of aluminum baseball and softball bats, competing against other major brands such as: Miken, DeMarini, WORTH, Louisville Slugger and the Louisville Slugger TPX Sub-brand. Among Easton’s best known bats are the Stealth and Synergy lines of aluminum bats. There are a lot of deal you can find online for Easton Baseball/Softball products, including discount/clearance items, savings with coupon codes, and promotional savings.
