Easton Sports, Incorporated is a privately owned manufacturer, marketer and distributor of many types of sporting equipment and is currently headquartered in Van Nuys, California. In 1922, the founder, Doug Easton, began manufacturing custom wood bows and cedar arrows in Watsonville, California. Easton produced tournament-grade cedar arrows for the archery champions of that era, but was not happy with the inconsistency and lack of uniformity of wood shafts. In 1939, he started manufacturing aluminum arrows in Los Angeles, California.
