Earth, Wind & Fire is a R&B and disco group that broke through with their first number one charted Billboard hit "Shining Star" in 1979, and have enjoyed many hit singles since. The group is led by Maurice White. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995.
