Earth Day Lesson Plans are a great place for teachers and homeschool planners to seek out educational resources for Earth Day.
Earth Day falls each year on April 22nd, and is one of the best times to teach students about the environment. The original purpose of Earth Day was to inspire people to think and act with environmental awareness.
Teachers could also expand beyond Earth Day and spend the entire Earth Week, which begins on April 16th, learning about conservation, recycling, ecological footprints and other environmental issues.
