Early Life
Earl Antoine Boykins was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 2, 1976, and he went on to attend Central Catholic High School. He continued his education at Eastern Michigan University. Boykins was not selected in the 1998 NBA draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Earl Boykins
Pro Career
In his first season in the NBA, Boykins signed with the New Jersey Nets and then after being waived, signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His breakout season was during the 2001-2002 campaign, when Boykins appeared in 68 games for the Los Angeles Clippers.
