E.Factor was founded in 2007 as a social networking site for entrepreneurs to connect with other entrepreneurs. "E.Factor" stands for "The Entrepreneur Factor" and serves an online community and virtual marketplace designed for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. The site is used for entrepreneurs to connect with other entrepreneurs and investors. As a collaboration community, E.Factor brings people from all over the world together to make business deals, exchange information, and advertise their products and services to the community.
History

E.Factor was co-founded by a few entrepreneurs, Roeland Reinders, Adrie Reinders, and Marion Freijsen in 2007 in Amsterdam, Holland. The founders were family members and friends who worked together previously in business.
Community and Culture

The site is built as a community of entrepreneurs, which many of the entrepreneurs joined from cities such as Amsterdam, Holland (where E.Factor) launched, as well as New York, Chicago. Nearly 1 million members have joined E.Factor to network with entrepreneurs.
