E-40 is a Vallejo, California-based rapper, whose speedy, elastic rapping style and generous use of slang has helped to popularize the Bay Area Hyphy movement. He is also a member of the Bay Area group, The Click, and founder of Sick Wid It Records. E-40 released his solo debut album after The Click released their first album. He has released over ten albums, both as a solo artist and with his The Click. His vocals have appeared on numerous soundtracks and on other artists' albums.
Over the course of his career E-40 has worked with T-Pain, Chingo Blingo, John Cena, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Remy Ma, Slim Thug, Swizz Beatz, Fabolous, Nate Dogg and Lil Jon.
E-40's hit singles include "Sprinkle Me," "1-Luv," "Nah, Nah," "Rep Yo City" and "U and Dat."
