DynCorp International is a conglomerate of numerous subsidiary companies, and ranks among the top 25 contractors for the United States Department of Defense. The company is divided into a Government Services division, providing support for the government's interests both domestically and abroad, and a Maintenance and Technical Support Services division that focuses on aerospace design, maintenance, and limited manufacturing.

- 1946: Air freight business, California Eastern Airways, is formed
- 1946: Aircraft maintenance company, Land-Air Inc, is formed
- 1948: California Eastern Airways files for bankruptcy
- 1951: Land-Air Inc. is awarded the first Contract Field Teams contract by the U.S. Air Force
- 1987: After a series of name-changes, company becomes DynCorp.
- 2000: DynCorp International, LLC is established
