Lu Xun used a fire strategy to decimate the large Shu army. However, Liu Bei has retreated into the Stone Sentinel Maze constructed by Zhuge Liang. Lu Xun must brave the maze in order to reach Liu Bei.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Wu Mission 22 - Battle of Yiling Part 2

Player: Lu Xun.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Liu Bei.

2.) Lu Xun and Sun Quan must survive.

Apart from your companion Lian Shi, you will be fighting alone. Follow the path through the maze. You will run into some traps along the way. One trap is an arrow trap. Hold block and move laterally to evade it. Another trap is a spear trap. Simply jump over it to continue.

In addition, phantom soldiers will appear. They are partially invisible and cannot be hit, so just ignore them.

Eventually, you will reach Zhuge Liang with some enemy soldiers. Use Lu Xun’s first musou to clear the mob as well as hurt Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang has an AOE musou, so watch out for that.

The gate inside the maze will open. Enter the courtyard and you will face Yue Ying, arbalests and some juggernauts. Juggernauts are fire breathing siege machines. Circle around them to avoid being hit, and use your musou attacks to damage them more. Defeat Yue Ying to stop the arbalests.

Sun Quan will enter the maze and will be trapped and ambushed. Go east and follow the maze path towards Ma Su (marked by a green circle) and defeat him to disable the maze. Follow the path down to Sun Quan and help him defeat the ambushing officers to rescue him.

Head back into the maze courtyard and head west, then north towards Baidi castle defeating enemies along the way.

Zhao Yun will lead an army to attack you. There will be a lot of enemies and you will be fighting alone, so use your musous whenever possible.

Defeat the defense captain outside of Baidi Castle to open the gate. Head inside and defeat Liu Bei. When his health falls low, he will gain defense powerups.
