Dynasty Warriors 7 Walkthrough - Wu - Battle of Nanjun
Player: Gan Ning. Talk to Zhou Yu to begin the mission.
Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Cao Ren.
2.) Zhou Yu must survive.
Head north to engage the enemy. Continue north and capture the north-east base. Gan Ning’s first musou is a forward AOE charge, which his second musou is a forwad AOE dash. The difference is that you can control the movement of his second musou.
Head back south, then west to the central base. Help your allies capture it by defeating the officer defending it. Head west, then north to another base and capture it.
Cao Cao will spring a trap into the base that you are in. You and Zhou Yu will be ambushed by enemy units. Defeat the enemy units to rescue Zhou Yu.
When Zhou Yu gives the signal, withdrawal to the position marked by a green circle. Cao Cao will launch an attack lead by Xu Huang. Wait until the enemy reaches your position. Once inside your base, Zhou Yu will ignite fire trap, and the enemies will have reduced health. Use this time to quickly mop them up.
Meanwhile, Liu Bei’s forces will mobilize from the south and attack Cao Cao. Head south-east and help Zhou Yu defeat an army lead by Zhang Liao.
Head west and help your main army defeat an army led by Xiahou Dun. Use Gan Ning’s second musou to dash in and clear the mob, then use his first musou to damage the officers.
Head to the north-west corner of the map and defeat Cao Ren. Liu Bei’s forces are probably already there by now, so it’s just a matter of finishing him off.
