After defeating Wen Chou and Yan Liang, Yuan Shao himself takes to the field. The size and strength of Yuan Shao’s forces considerably dwarfs Cao Cao’s. It would seem that Cao Cao is on the verge of defeat. However, Yuan Shao’s officer Xu You has secretly come to meet with Cao Cao, offering information that may turn the tide of the battle.
Dynasty Warriors 7 Walkthrough - Battle of Guandu Part 2
Player: Cao Pi. Talk to Jia Xu or Xu You to begin the mission.
Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Yuan Shao.
2.) Cao Cao and Xu You must survive.
Head north onto the castle walls and use the catapults to destroy the enemy siege towers.
Head to the east gate of the castle and rendezvous with Xu You. Follow the path east, then north until you reach the fork in the road. It does not matter which way you go. However, if you go on the cliff towards the left, you can jump down and surprise the enemy, causing confusion.
Continue heading north and defeat the enemies outside Wuchao. There will be a lot of enemies, so take out the archers first. Among the enemy officers will be Zhen Ji.
Once the enemies are defeated, Xu You will open the gates to Wuchao. Rush in and defeat Zhang He to capture Wuchao. A brief cutscene will play.
After the cutscene, Zhang He will join you instantly. Your main force will start charging the enemy. Liu Bei will arrive briefly but, upon seeing Guan Yu, will retreat.
Head north across the bridge and head west to cross another bridge. Start defeating all enemy officers marked with green circles, which should be everybody outside of Guandu.
Rush into Guan Du. Use your musous to clear out the enemy horde. Aim for the archers first. Yuan Shao shouldn’t be too hard to handle since your allies will all help you.
