Liu Bei discovers what Pang Tong has done, but finds out that the people of Yi rejoice Liu Bei’s arrival. However, Pang Tong suffered a wound in the battle and died shortly after. Honouring Pang Tong’s final wishes, Liu Bei finally decides to attack Liu Zhang. Hearing of his colleague’s death, Zhuge Liang left Guan Yu in the protection of Jing Province and lead an army to assist Liu Bei.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 15 - Battle of Chengdu

Player: Zhuge Liang.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Liu Zhang.

2.) Liu Bei must survive.

Head north and start engaging the enemy. Head west, then north until you reach a gate. Defeat the officer to proceed.

Continue north, then west to the gate marked by a green circle. Defeat Li Yan to gain access through the gate. Go through the gate, and defeat Fei Shi to open Mianzhu Gate.

Ma Chao and Ma Dai will arrive as enemy reinforcements to the north. Meanwhile, Liu Bei’s reinforcements lead by Zhao Yun will arrive to the south-west corner of the map, who brings Li Hui to talk with Ma Chao.

Head west and rendezvous with Zhao Yun’s troop. Help Zhao Yun and Li Hui defeat the enemies attacking them, then help the push their way north towards Ma Chao (marked by a green circle).

When Li Hui reaches Ma Chao, after a short dialogue Ma Chao and Ma Dai will defect to your side.

With your large army, charge into Chengdu castle and defeat Liu Zhang. With Wei Yan, Zhao Yun, Liu Bei, Ma Dai, and Ma Chao by your side, defeating Liu Zhang should be easy.
