Zhuge Liang planned this so the next time Guan Yu faces Cao Cao, he will not have any hesitations. After Chibi, Liu Bei conquered the rest of Jing Province, gaining valuable officers in Huang Zhong,Wei Yan, and Pang Tong. Sun Quan asked that Jing Province be returned to him for helping Liu Bei at Chibi, but Zhuge Liang said they will give it back after Liu Bei conquers Yi Province. The protector of Yi Province is Liu Zhang, a distant relative of Liu Bei. Although Pang Tong and Zhuge Liang urged Liu Bei to conquer Yi on the pretense of helping Liu Zhang, Liu Bei will not allow himself to betray virtue. Pang Tong asks Huang Zhong and Wei Yan to secretly assist him in conquering Yi for Liu Bei.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 14 - Battle of Luo Castle

Player: Pang Tong. Talk to Guard to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Liu Xun.

2.) Wei Yan must survive.

Head south-west and engage the enemy. Enter the enemy main camp and defeat the officers inside. Pang Tong’s first musou is a dashing AOE attack. Use it to defeat both officers and mobs.

Follow Wei Yan west across the bridge, then south into another enemy camp and capture it.

Follow Wei Yan south. He has a tendency to charge far ahead, so try to keep up with him. Follow him into another enemy camp and defeat Wu Lan to capture it. Use Pang Tong’s second musou, which is a healing spell if your health is low.

The door to the west will open, but the bridge will be destroyed by the enemy. Back track and head south with Wei Yan. Climb up the ladder, then jump down into the enemy camp. Liu Zhang’s reinforcements will arrive to the east of you. Help Wei Yan defeat the enemy officers to proceed.

Head west, then north along the path. Wei Yan will be ambushed. When you reach him, Zhang Ren and some archers on a cliff will injure Pang Tong. You will automatically lose about half of your health. Defeat the enemy officers and Zhang Ren.

Head west across the bridge, then head south. Defeat the enemies by the river to allow your reinforcements to arrive.

Liu Bei’s reinforcements lead by Zhao Yun will arrive at your position. Help them push north towards the enemy main camp. Defeat the enemy officers outside the south gate.

Enter into the enemy castle and your forces will set it on fire. This will reduce the health of the enemy soldiers inside. Defeat Liu Xun and the other officers.
