Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 09 - Battle of Xinye
Player: Zhang Fei. Talk to Guard to begin the mission.
Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Yue Jin and Cao Hong
2.) Liu Bei and Xu Shu must survive.
Head west and engage the enemy. Jump down the cliff and defeat Zhu Ling (marked by a green circle).
Continue west and cross the bridge. Cao Cao’s forces are set into the Eight Gates Formation. Follow Xu Shu’s instructions on how to defeat the enemy by defeating the officer that the green circle highlights. Try to defeat them as quickly as possible, since enemy archers from towers will constantly be shooting at your location.
Head south-west and cross the bridge. Defeat Yue Jin and Cao Hong. They are both generic officers, and you will most likely have Guan Yu and Zhao Yun by your side to quickly dispatch of them.
