Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 07 - Battle of Guandu

Player: Zhao Yun. Talk to Yuan Shao to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Cao Cao.

2.) Yuan Shao and Liu Bei must survive.

Head west and start engaging the enemy. Head south and cross the river. Shortly after, Xu You defects to Cao Cao and sets Wuchao in flames.

Head to the far east to Wuchao (marked by a green circle). A short cutscene will play. Guan Yu will appear on the side of Cao Cao and defeat Yuan Shao’s generals Yan Liang and Wen Chou. Yuan Shao will accuse Liu Bei of treachery, and Yuan Shao’s forces will turn against you.

Mission Update: 1.) Liu Bei reaches the escape point.

2.) Liu Bei must survive.

Aside from Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, everyone else on the map will turn into an enemy. Rush straight to Liu Bei, who is probably at Wuchao by now. Help Liu Bei defeat Zhang He. Zhang He has a forward AOE musou, and a dashing grappling musou.

Escort Liu Bei south-east to the escape point. He will be ambushed by Cao Cao’s forces. Help Liu Bei defeat Zhang Liao to proceed.

Keep heading south, and Liu Bei will be ambushed by Cao Cao again. Help Liu Bei defeat Cao Pi. Cao Pi has two AOE musous, one from the ground and another aerial one.

Yuan Shao’s reinforcements will appear to the north. Continue escoring Liu Bei south, and when you are near the escape point, Yuan Shao will appear in front of you. Defeat Yuan Shao to proceed to the escape point. Yuan Shao’s first musou is a forward AOE attack, and his second musou is a self-heal.
