Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 03 - Elimination of Dong Zhuo Part 1

After the quelling of the Yellow Turban Rebellion, corruption within the Imperial Court continued to weaken the Han. Amidst the confusion, the warlord Dong Zhuo arrives at the capital city of Luoyang and seizes power, beginning a rule of tyranny. Warlords across China form a coalition against Dong Zhuo, with Yuan Shao as its leader. Liu Bei and his sworn brothers join the coalition, and the coalition army marches towards Sishui Gate to begin a war to free the emperor from Dong Zhuo’s grasp.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Shu Mission 03 - Elimination of Dong Zhuo Part 1

Player: Guan Yu. Talk to Yuan Shao to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Li Ru and Hu Zhen.

2.) Yuan Shao must survive.

As a general tip for this mission, keep an eye out for enemies attacking your main camp. There are four entrances into your camp, and at various times enemies could break through. Return to defend Yuan Shao immediately if you see enemies in the camp.

One enemy officer to look out for is Hua Xiong, who attacks from the south. He advances fairly quickly, and you should return to camp if he reaches Yuan Shao. Hua Xiong will retreat when his health falls low.

When Sun Jian’s forces run out of food, move to the centre of the map and help his forces out.

Once you reach Sun Jian’s forces, you will receive an order to defend the supply depot. The supply depot is located on the north-west corner of the map.

Once you defeat the enemies attacking the depot, the enemy will send a lot of enemies towards Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao will also be advancing towards the front lines, so be prepared to defend him. Guan Yu’s first musou is an AOE attack that will be useful in clearing mobs.

After you repel the invading force, rejoin your allies and push towards Sishui Gate. Defeat Li Ru and Hu Zhen.

Mission Update: 1.) Defeat Hua Xiong.

2.) Yuan Shao must survive.

Hua Xiong will reappear in front of Sishui Gate. Use the same strategy you used to defeat him before.
