Dynasty Warriors 7 - Jin Mission 08 - Battle of New Hefei Castle

The new Wu commander Zhuge Ke turned out to be more capable than originally thought, and the Wei forces were dealt a crushing defeat. Zhuge Ke leads an army north to press the attack against the fleeing Wei force, now in the shelter of New Hefei Castle. Sima Zhao requests reinforcements from Sima Shi in order to drive the invading force back.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Jin Mission 08 - Battle of New Hefei Castle

Player: Sima Shi. Talk to Zhuge Dan or Sima Zhao to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Zhuge Ke.

2.) Sima Shi must survive.

Head south and engage the enemy. Head west and help your allies defeat the enemy units that have slipped into the castle.

The Wu central army lead by Ding Feng will infiltrate through the central castle gates. Go south and intercept them. Use the ballista on the top of the stairs to shoot down on the enemies. Since you can’t be hit inside the ballista, this should deal with the enemies pretty quickly.

Another Wu army will breach the eastern gates. Head east and jump down to intercept the enemy. Use the pyrocannon to repel the enemy. The pyrocannon has a flamethrower, a fireball, and a 360 degree flamethrower attack.

The main Wu army will charge the main castle. Head south-west and defeat the enemy officers.

Zhuge Ke will be in the south-west corner of the map. Head over there with your allies to defeat him. He is a generic officer and will pose no trouble.
