Cao Shuang was killed by Sima Yi, and soon the Cao clan crumbled under the rising power of the Sima family. Xiahou Ba, Xiahou Yuan’s son, feared for his life and defected to Shu. Meanwhile the Shu army, under the command of Jiang Wei, began to launch his Northern Expeditions against Wei. Sima Yi does not participate in the battle personally, but sends his sons to Mt. Niutou in his stead.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Jin Mission 04 - Shu Invasion

Player: Sima Shi. Talk to Sima Zhao to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Jiang Wei.

2.) Sima Shi must survive.

Head west and begin engaging the enemy. Move south-west and defeat the Defence Captain outside the base (marked by a green circle).

Jiang Wei was a decoy, and your army across the map fall into enemy ambushes. Defeat the enemy officers inside this base.

Head north-east towards the bridge (marked by a green circle). Destroy the bridge to prevent the Shu forces from advancing.

Head to the north-west corner of the map and capture the enemy armory. On the way, you will run into Guan Suo. Defeat him, then proceed to the armory.

The armory is guarded by Xing Cai and a few others. Sima Shi’s first AOE musou is a good way to defeat mobs and officers.

Yue Ying will appear in the center of the map with siege machines. Head south, then east. Help your allies defeat Yue Ying, then destroy the arbalests.

Move south-west towards the enemy main camp. Enter the camp and defeat Jiang Wei. With your allies backing you up, ganging up on him is an easy way to defeat him.
