The rebellion in Shouchun was crushed. However, complications with Sima Shi’s eye infection weakened him, and he soon passed away. The leadership of the Sima clan was thrust into Sima Zhao’s hands. The Emperor Cao Mao forced Sima Zhao to stay in Xuchang in order to weaken his influence over the military. However, learning of Sima Shi’s death, Jiang Wei embarks on yet another Northern Expedition. Realizing that only the Sima clan has had any success defending against Shu, Cao Mao reluctantly allows Sima Zhao to lead the army to Taoshui.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Jin Mission 14 - 3rd Shu Invasion

Player: Sima Zhao. Talk to Deng Ai to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Jiang Wei.

2.) Sima Zhao must survive.

Head east and begin the attack. Head west, then south across the river. Defeat the enemy unit in the centre (marked by a green circle).

The fog will thicken and will limit the information your map displays. Climb the mountain to the south and assault the camp to the right (marked by a green circle). This surprise attack will throw the defenders into confusion, giving you some time to defeat them without resistance. This camp is defended by Guan Suo.

Head west and cross the bridge to another camp. Attack and capture it in the same manner as above. This camp is defended by Xiahou Ba.

Head north-west and jump down into the third enemy camp. Defeat its units to capture it. This camp will be defended by Xing Cai.

The Shu vanguard will retreat, and the Wei army will advance. Head south, then east and capture the enemy camp.

The enemy arbalests will prevent Wang Yuanji from advancing. Head south, then east and defeat the officer and arbalests to allow her to proceed.

Head west towards the enemy main camp. The entrance will be guarded by Yue Ying and arbalests. Run behind the arbalests, and then defeat Yue Ying. This way you won’t have to worry about getting shot.

The Qiang tribe will arrive to the north as enemy reinforcements. Defeat the enemy reinforcements to proceed.

Enter the enemy main camp. You have fought Jiang Wei multiple times before, so use the same tactic to defeat him.
