The Wei forces are successful in defending against Jiang Wei’s attack. Meanwhile, a Wei vassal Wang Ling deposed Cao Fang off the throne with the intention of crowning an older emperor. The reason behind this act was to undermine the influence of the Sima clan in the Imperial Court. Sima Yi decides to lead an army to Shouchun to deal with Wang Ling immediately.

Dynasty Warriors 7 - Jin Mission 05 - Wang Ling's Rebellion

Player: Sima Yi. Talk to Sima Shi to begin the mission.

Mission Objectives: 1.) Defeat Wang Ling.

2.) Sima Yi must survive.

Head east and begin engaging the enemy. Head north-east and help Wang Guang capture the enemy camp.

Head south and defeat the enemy officers in the camp. Head south-west and conquer the camp.

Wu reinforcements lead by Ding Feng will arrive to the south. Head south-west to capture another camp. The Wu reinforcements will charge straight towards you. Defeat them and proceed.

The Wu main army will arrive in the south-east corner of the map. Head east and capture the last enemy camp. The Wu army will catch up to you. It will consist of generic officers, so they should be easy to deal with.

Head south-west towards the enemy main camp. Wang Guang will have a short dialogue that will end up confusing Wang Mingshan. Use that opportunity to easily defeat him.

Enter the enemy main camp and defeat Wang Ling and his supporting officers. He is also a generic officer, so he is easy to defeat.
