Tom Billington, aka the Dynamite Kid, is a retired professional wrestler, formerly one-half of the British Bulldogs tag team with Davey Boy Smith in the 1980s.
Trained by Ted Betley and later Stu Hart, Billington had his breakthrough matches with Bret Hart while both wrestled in Stampede Wrestling in Calgary. Billington also performed in Japan in a series of classic matches with Tiger Mask before debuting in the WWE in 1984.
Teamed with Smith, the Bulldogs feuded most with the Hart Foundation, made up of Bret and Jim Neidhart. Both teams--both comprised of former Stampede Wrestling stars--battled for the WWE Tag Team Championship, with the Foundation getting the best of the Bulldogs in the end.
Due to a bitter real-life altercation with Jacques Rougeau, Billington was released from the company in 1988.
After working in Calgary and Japan, he retired from active wrestling in 1996. After years of drug abuse and physical wear, he is now confined to a wheelchair.
