    Duncan videotaped himself torturing and molesting Groene. The tape was shown as evidence to the jury at Duncan's trial in August of 2008.     In May 2005, Duncan broke into the Groene family's home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Duncan killed 13-year-old Slade Groene, his mother and her boyfriend. He then abducted the two younger children, Dylan Groene and his eight-year-old sister Shasta.
