  • Dwyane Tyrone Wade, Jr. is an American Professional basketball player. He was born on January 17, 1982. Also known as 'Flash' and D-Wade, Wade was named Sportsman of the Year in 2006 by Sports Illustrated. : Dwayne led the United States men's basket ball team through the 2008 Summer Olympics.

    He married his high school sweetheart, Siohvaugh Funches on February 4, 2003. He and his wife have two sons; Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade, born February 4, 2002 and Zion Malachi Airamis Wade, born May 29, 2007. In September 2007 it was rumored that the couple had separated after 5 years of marriage. Wade has also been linked with actress Gabrielle Union and Star Jones, though he has denied anything other than friendship with these women.

    Wade has featured in a number of magazines over the years. In 2005, he was featured in People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people. In 2006 GQ Magazine named him NBA's best-dressed player. In 2007 Esquire Magazine named him named him their 4th annual Best Dressed Man in the World for the second year in a row.
