Dustin Nippert

Dustin Nippert is a Major League Baseball player. He is currently a pitcher for the Texas Rangers.

Dustin David Nippert was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on May 6, 1981. He attended Beallsville High School. He continued his education at West Virginia University. In 2002, Nippert was selected in the 15th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.

On September 8, 2005, Nippert made his MLB debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his first season, he appeared in 3 games and compiled a 5.52 earned run average. In 2007, he appeared in 36 games and compiled a record of 1 win and 1 loss with a 5.56 earned run average. In 2008, he was traded to the Texas Rangers.
