Early Life
Dustin David Nippert was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on May 6, 1981. He attended Beallsville High School. He continued his education at West Virginia University. In 2002, Nippert was selected in the 15th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.Pro Career
On September 8, 2005, Nippert made his MLB debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his first season, he appeared in 3 games and compiled a 5.52 earned run average.
