Career Highlights
Dustin Brown began his career with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League in 2000. He won several honors during his junior hockey years including three Bobby Smith Trophies as the most outstanding CHL player both on and off the ice. Brown was drafted 13th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. He made his NHL debut during the 2003-04 regular season, playing 41 games with the Kings. In 2004, Brown also represented Team U.S.A. in the 2004 World Championships, helping them win a bronze medal. Brown played with the Kings' American Hockey League affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. He returned to the Kings the following season, earning a full roster spot.
