Guide Note:
Dungeon Siege is a singeplayer and multiplayer role-playing game developed by Gas Powered Games. -
Gameplay
Similar to Diablo the battles occur in real-time with no random battles. You explore the countryside and dungeons and kill the various monsters roaming the land. You develop characters down melee, ranged, nature magic or combat magic paths or a combination. Skills in these areas increase with each use as well as your strength, dexterity, and intelligence stats. The game is also party-based, so each of your party members can follow different paths and you can play in either single or multi-player mode. In single player mode you can control up to eight different characters and can control all of them or have the computer control them. In addition to the single-player campaign, which can be played in cooperative multiplayer mode, there's also a separate gaming world designed primarily for multiplayer sessions. You can play by starting a multiplayer game alone, but you're only able to play one character in multiplayer games. You can set up team-based battles and the developers have implemented to ability for player-created modifications and content. -
