Duncan Keith is a Canadian professional hockey player, currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League.
Career Highlights
Keith began his career with the Penticton Panthers of the British Columbia Hockey League in 1998. In his final season with the Panthers, 2000-01, he was named the top defenseman in the league. He then attended and played for Michigan State University for just over one season, leaving in 2002 to sign with the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League. That same year he was drafted 54th overall in the NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. Keith joined the Norfolk Admirals in 2003, an American Hockey League affiliate. Following the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, Keith returned to the Blackhawks to make his NHL debut. Over the three seasons since his NHL debut, Keith has played in all but one regular season games with the Blackhawks.
