Over medium heat in a large pot, place the fruit, water, apple juice, soy sauce, apricot, brown sugar, garlic powder, and dry mustard. Stir frequently while it simmers. With reduced heat allow the mixture to simmer for 40 minutes and then remove from heat. Allow to cool and then blend in mixture into a food processor until completely smooth.
