  • Duck Dodgers is a cartoon series based on the original 1953 Warner Bros. cartoon short Duck Dodgers in the 24th and One-Half Century, a parody of the then-popular Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. As in the original cartoon, the series stars Daffy Duck as the fumbling, egotistical Duck Dodgers. Unlike the original—which featured a Cold War-style arms race between Daffy and Marvin the Martian—the series is more of a pure send-up of Science Fiction clichés, full of pop-culture references a la Tiny Toon Adventures, and with no discernible serious agenda. The series ran from 2002 to 2005. Reruns can be seen on the Cartoon Network-affiliated Boomerang.
