Dublin is the capital of Ireland and also the largest city in the country. It's knows as the cultural center of Ireland because it's host to many of Ireland's sporting, events, theaters, nightlife areas and shopping districts. Many visitors to Ireland fly into Dublin and proceed to visit and tour Ireland from there. The city itself is an excellent start to any vacation in Ireland and some people even choose to make it there one and only stop in the country.

There are so many places to see in Dublin, the only problem is where to start. There are many museums to visit, including the National Museum of Ireland, Irish Museum of Modern Art and The National Gallery of Ireland. To experience a bit history at your own pace, be sure to visit the Dublin Castle. It's a main piece of Dublin's history, as well as many of the castles in the towns throughout Ireland. Visitors can take guided tours or walk through the open areas at ones own pace. It's almost a magical experience to witness how life was in the days of the 13th century.Events
