Drury University is a private liberal arts university that resides on an 88-acre residential campus.
History
In 1873, Drury was founded by Congregational church missionaries on less than two acres of land. The school was modeled after other liberal arts colleges of the northeast such as Yale, Harvard and Dartmouth. The early curriculum emphasized education, religion and music. In 2000, it changed its name from Drury College to Drury University.Drury University: History
