Other "Drunk" Videos
Within a few days of the "beer purchase" videos appearance, a different video, featuring a drunk man carrying a bag, also appeared on YouTube.
Videos featuring intoxicated individuals have long been popular online, particularly when they involve celebrities. Popular examples include videos featuring an intoxicated Danny DeVito, a clip of Diane Sawyer drunk following the inauguration of President Obama and a parody of an Apple commercial in which actor Jeff Goldblum appears to slur his words.
