Drew Stafford

  • American professional hockey player Drew Stafford plays for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League.
  • NHL Career

    Prior to playing in the National Hockey League, Stafford attended and played for the University of North Dakota. He was drafted 13th overall in the 2004 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. He left the University of North Dakota in 2006 to join the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans. He played 34 games for the Americans before he was called up to make his NHL debut with the Sabres.
