Drew Miller is a professional hockey left wing who plays for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League. Professional Career
Miller entered the NHL when he was drafted 186th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft by the Ducks. He played three seasons in college before joining the professional ranks, then was assigned to the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League in 2006. Miller made his NHL debut in the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs, playing three games with the Ducks. During the 2009 off-season, Miller was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he played just 14 games before he was waived. The Detroit Red Wings picked up Miller, adding him to the full roster for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. College Career
Following a family tradition, Drew Miller played college hockey with the Michigan State Spartans from 2003 to 2006. During those three seasons, he participated in 125 games, adding 39 goals, 47 assists and 89 penalty minutes.
