Early Life
Drew Daniel Henson was born in San Diego, California, on February 13, 1980. He later attended Brighton High School. Henson continued his education at the University of Michigan, where he developed into a two-sport star in baseball and football. Henson was notable in college for being the back-up quarterback to future NFL superstar Tom Brady in 1998 and 1999. He earned the starting role in 2000. Pro Career
Henson made his MLB debut on September 5, 2002, with the New York Yankees.
