Early Life
Andrew Melvin Gooden was born on September 24, 1981, in Oakland, California. He attended El Cerrito High School and then continued his education at the University of Kansas. Pro Career
Gooden started his first season in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2002. He finished the season with the Orlando Magic after a trade. He was traded again in 2004, to the Cleveland Cavaliers where he started at power forward for several seasons. In 2008, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls For the 09-10 NBA season, he was first traded to the Dallas Mavericks, then to the Washington Wizards, then to the Los Angeles Clippers on February 17, 2010.NBA.com: Drew Gooden
