Once there the girl and knight fulfill the giant serpent's destiny when they give it the power to save the world and to become a heavenly dragon. Haram and Navin fall in love after spending several years together, and as a result Haram is not able to sacrifice her as he was told to. Because of this, the Good Imoogi's destiny was never fulfilled and the world would have to wait another five hundred years before another Yeouijoo would appear.

Jump ahead five hundred years to the city of Los Angeles. Haram and Narin are reincarnated as Ethan Kendrick and Sarah Daniels, whose love is as true as it was many hundreds of years before. Ethan is a reporter who is investigating a series of disasters linked to Sarah. Ethan remembers these events foretold to him many years before. Because of his knowledge, he is able to rescue Sarah and save her from the wrath of Buraki and his army. Ethan knows that Sarah has to sacrifice herself for the greater good, but he tries to convince her that there's a better way to battle the Imoogis.

The rest of the movie is centered around their battle and the love between Ethan and Sarah. They have to decide whether to defy heaven and destiny once again and in doing so let the city be destroyed or finally deliver Sarah to the Good Imoogi.
