Dragon Age 2

Dragon Age 2 is the upcoming role playing video game developed by BioWare and the sequel to the 2009 Game of the Year, Dragon Age. The title will be published by Electronic Arts and will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Story

In Dragon Age 2, the story is focused around a new character, named Hawke, a human who survived the Blight to become the Champion of Kirkwall. Unlike the first game from this series, the story in Dragon Age 2 will span 10 years, instead of 2. Hawke and the player will modify the story based on the actions they perform and each choice made by the player will affect the entire plot in one way or another. Gameplay

BioWare intends to implement several new features to this sequel. Most of them are focused on the main character who is a fixed one. This means the player won’t be able to create and customize his own character like he did in the first part. Hawke will be a human and in Dragon Age 2 he will have a voice. When it was asked by the g4tv, about the new control system, lead designer Mike Laidlaw mentioned:

The achievements from the first game will be moved to the second episode of the franchise. Laidlaw explained:

Series

The first game of this series was released on November 3, 2009 for PC and Xbox 360 and November 20, 2009 for PS3, under the name Dragon Age: Origins. On March 16, 2010, the game received his first expansion pack: Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening and in March 2011 the franchise will have a second game: Dragon Age 2.
