Dragon Age 2 - Offered and Lost is part of the main questline. For this walkthrough, players will investigate the disappearance and apparent capture of  Qunari delegates by a group of Templars. The quest finishes with a semi-difficult encounter with a large group of weak enemies and 1 powerful mini-boss.

1. This quest is received after turning in Blackpowder Courtesy to the Viscount.
2. Speak with the Viscount’s man just outside his chambers.
3. Go to the Hanged Man pub in Lowtown at night and speak with the guard.
   
4. Defeat the guard and his friends.
5. Speak with the Guard to find out more information.
6. Go to the Chantry to find the cleric responsible.
7. Speak with the woman.
8. Go to Ser Varnell’s Refuge (new location on map, at the bottom right).
9. The upcoming fight can be pretty difficult, as you'll need to manage the large masses of weak enemies well so they don't overrun your mages.
10. Quickly take out the Fanatics with AOE abilities, and keep your Tank on Varnell. Make sure to use your other Melee (if you have one) to peel enemies off your mages. You can also decide to kill Varnell first rather than last, but whatever you do, you must AOE down the fanatics quickly.
    
11. Note: A large group of Fanatics will run in from behind you, and start attacking your mages. Make sure to use your melee/tank to quickly peel them off.
12. Make sure to loot everything.
