Dragon Age 2 - Haunted is a companion quest for Varric in Act 3, and a direct continuation of the "A Small Problem" quest. For this walkthrough, players will finish the Varric/Lyrium Idol storyline, by finally dealing with the idol in Bartrand's home.

1. Go to Hightown at Night and head to Bertrand's Estate.
2. Make your way into the house and into the main room.
3. After the cutscene and dialogue, engage the Ethereal Golem.
4. Bring the Golem down. It has a lot of hit points but is not a difficult fight.
5. When the Golem disappears, kill the Shades.
6. Finish off the Golem and the Shades.
7. Decide to let Varric keep the idol, or tell him it's too dangerous.
8. If you refuse to give it to him, leave the estate and go to your home.
9. Use the Writing Desk to end the quest.
