Dragon Age 2 - Demands of the Qun is a main plot quest, and one of the major quests in the whole game. In this walkthrough, players will finally put to rest the tension growing between the Qunari and the rest of Kirkwall, by defeating the Arishok and his forces after they attack the city and kill the Viscount. The quest ends with a tough and memorable boss encounter against the Arishok and his men.

1. Head back to your estate after completing "Following the Qun". A cutscene will be initiated that will give you the quest.
   
2. Go to the Qunari Compound during day.
3. Head to the Keep through the streets. You will have to fight Qunari on your way.
4. Make your way around the closed gate, up to the Keep.
5. Note: When you get to decide who to take up to the Keep, it is suggested to take your Elven mage and Anders in your group, along with your Tank, for the boss fight later on.
6. Choose the Distraction option or the Direct Assault on the Keep entrance. Whatever floats your boat. The distraction will of course be safer.
7. Battle your way deeper into the Keep.
8. Once you talk with Arishok, you will have no choice but to have to fight him and a large group of Qunari. This is quite a challenging fight, and will probably take you a few tries to get down, especially depending on your group make-up. Typically, you will want a healer mage, a damage mage, a tank, and another DPS class like a warrior or a rogue.
9. Note: If Isabella walks in during the cutscene, and you refuse to hand her over, you will be given the option to duel the Arishok one on one. Generally speaking, you will have to first recruit Isabella as one of your companions in a side quest earlier on, and have a high friendship/rivalry standing with her for this to occur.
10. If you fight the Arishok normally (not the duel), the first thing to keep in mind is that Arishok will not engage for about 15-20 seconds at the start of the fight.
11. Start by attacking the nearby Qunari, as you wait for the rest of them to swarm around you. Once they are near, start using heavy AOE abilities to take them down quickly. AOE mage spells are particularly effective here, such as Tempest and Ensnare.
12. As soon as you take down the large majority of the nearby Qunari, quickly switch your focus to the 2 mage Qunari above you on the stairs and take them out. Make sure to use your Interrupt/Stun abilities on them, to prevent them from casting powerful spells and from teleporting away from you. Continue using your Tank to peel any remaining melee Qunari off your mages, and use your other DPS (Hawke) to go up the stairs and take out the Qunari Spearmen.
13. As soon as Arishok starts attacking, put your tank on him. You should, at this point, have only Arishok and a few Qunari Spearmen remaining. Finish off the Spearmen with Hawke, while the rest of your group cleans up any remaining Qunari downstairs, and starts to kill Arishok. Go back down the stairs with Hawke and help your group kill Arishok.
14. Congratulations! You are now the Champion of Kirkwall, and Act 2 is finished.
