Dragon Age 2 - A Bitter Pill is a companion quest for Fenris. For this walkthrough, players will fight a large number of slavers, the same kind of people that originally held Fenris under Danarius' control. Players will decide to either help Fenris, or let him go alone into a Slaver Den, where you will rescue a number of slaves and kill their captors.

1. In order to trigger this quest, you simply need to have Fenris in your party when you leave Kirkwall in Act 2.
2. Note: If you take too long to leave with Fenris in your party, you may also be ambushed inside the city. If this happens, simply go to the Holding Caves via the World Map, outside of Kirkwall.
3. You will be ambushed by slavers that are after Fenris.
4. After some short dialogue, you will have to fight the slavers.
5. Agree to go with Fenris to the Holding Caves.
6. Continue following the quest arrow and moving through the area as you kill any slavers, until you reach the cave.
7. Note: Make sure to loot any chests around the area, before you enter the cave.
8. Enter the Slaver Den.
9. Following the quest arrow, start clearing out slavers.
10. When you reach the elven girl, you will have a few dialogue choices on what to do with her.
11. Continue on deeper into the den.
12. When you reach Hadriana, make sure to focus her down quickly before killing the weaker slavers.
13. After Hadriana gives up, you have a number of dilaogue choices on what to do with her.
14. After speaking with Fenris, leave the area.
15. Head back to your Estate via the World Map and speak with Fenris.
