    Reports state that Jackson received an injection of the powerful painkiller Demerol before his death. Police believe that injection came from Dr. Murray.   • Michael Jackson's Death

    At around noon on the June 25, 2009, emergency personnel were called to the home of Michael Jackson after the pop star reportedly stopped breathing.     After the death, police impounded Dr. Murray's car, which was a BMW licensed to Murray's sister, Susan Rush, in the state of Texas.   • Homicide Investigation

    The Los Angeles County prosecutors assigned to this case have indicated that they will be filing charges against Dr. Murray, and have arranged for him to turn himself in on February 8, 2010. Originally this was to have taken place on February 5, but Murray's attorney wanted to ensure that Murray would not be photographed publicly during his entrance or exit from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.


    The nature of the charges have not yet been released to the public.
