Douglas LaMay is a 38-year-old Massachusetts man whose family reported him missing on New Year's Day, 2009. His body was discovered on January 4, 2009, in a parking garage at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority transit station in Quincy. Missing Husband and Father
Douglas LaMay was reported missing by his family in Halifax, Massachusetts, on New Year's Day, 2009. The family started a blog to help discovered; four posts were made to the blog before it was taken down. Although the cause of death has not been determined, the police do not believe that foul play was involved. A suicide note was found at his home on January 4, 2009. Halifax police sergeant Edward Broderick said on January 4 that the preliminary finding was that the death was a suicide.
