  • A dosa is similar to a crepe, and common in South Indian cuisine. The batter consists of rice, lentils and water. It is normally left to ferment overnight.
  • Types of Dosa

    1. Masala dosa: Stuffed with spiced potatoes and onions
    2. Rava dosa: Made with semolina
    3. Muttai dosa: Made with eggs
    4. Neer dosa: Made with rice flour and water only
    5. Paneer dosa: Grated paneer cheese is added to the batter
    6. Methi dosa: Flavored with fenugreek
