Backstory
Dory Funk Jr. began his wrestling career in 1963, the same year he graduated from West Texas State University, where he was a champion wrestler and played football. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005 and the National Wrestling Alliance Hall of Fame in 2006. -
