Dorothy Dixon, a developmentally delayed woman, was found dead in her home on January 31, 2008 after being tortured and beaten. She was six months pregnant. Dixon and Michelle Riley reportedly met at a center for the developmentally disabled. Dixon was a client of the center and Riley was working there. Riley lived with Dixon, cashed her social security checks, and is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated battery and intentional homicide on an unborn child.
