Doomsday is a film about a deadly virus that threatens to wipe out the United Kingdom, and efforts to find a cure before it's too late. 25 years after The Reaper virus decimated Scotland, killing millions, it resurfaces in London. A group of government-led experts head straight for the contaminated area, to try and recover a counter-agent for the virus.
Review Quotes
"When the film's unspooling and we're watching Rhona Mitra drive a sports car through an exploding bus, we find ourselves in movie geek heaven." — David Cornelius from eFilmmCritic
"Doomsday is an anarchic trip down memory lane." — Rudy Joggerst from Reel.com
"One caveat: The film has more blood-splatter than a dozen zombie movies. If you can handle that, Doomsday's drunken mash-up of futuristic and feudal is surprisingly satisfying." — David Hiltbrand from Philadelphia Inquirer
"Marshall delivers what he promises and Mitri makes for a cool, kick-arse heroine in the Ellen Ripley mold." — Ken Fox from TVGuide
