Doom 4 is an upcoming first-person shooter from id Software. It is the fourth installment in the popular Doom series, which was one of the first FPS games ever made. The game is in development for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. No release date has been announced.

The fourth installment of the popular video game franchises, Doom 4 remains a bit of a mystery. Very few details on the game have been released by its developers, id Software, though it's expected to continue many conventions present in the previous Doom games. On January 15, 2009, British award-winning fantasy author Graham Joyce was confirmed as being the writer behind Doom 4.
