Site 3 Overview
TIP: Most doors have writing on them that tells you what they lead to - Freight Cart Terminal, for example. Use the writing to remember the layout of rooms.
A Hellknight spawns at the end of the hall here as you progress. Take it out, and wipe out the Wraiths and Imp that follows. Move down the hallway and turn left through the doorway to shoot another Imp. There's some ammo at the far end of the hall, but you'll have to fight another Imp that spawns in once you grab it. Head through the door marked "Garage".
You'll need to enter the Freight Cart Terminal - shoot the two Imps inside, and a Hellknight will spawn at the far end of the room. Take it down, and enter the next room; the floor drops out and an Archvile spawns before you. Use the Soul Cube on it, and mop up any Imps left.
Keep moving; kill the Revenant that comes down the stairs ahead of you. There's a Wraith in the room and some ammo under the stairs as well. Head upstairs and open the door to spawn more Wraiths before entering the small room and descending the ladder. At the bottom, stand still to lure the Wraith towards you that's here, and kill it.
There's ammo and health on the shelves in this area, and a pair of Imps to kill. Take the upper walkway through a door and kill the Revenant that comes down the hallway, then spin and kill the Wraith that attacks you from behind. Down the hallway are more Imps - dust them, and then head left down the hallway - the right path leads to a locked door.
Climb the ladder and drop down to the room on the other side of the locked door. Move forward, and kill the Hellknight and Wraiths that spawn into the area. Take out the Hellknight quickly, and head through the door to grab a PDA. When you leave the room, be prepared to kill Wraiths and an Imp from across the room.
Use your increased security clearance to open the door on the other end of the room, then turn right and head down the hallway to find a Revenant - kill it, then continue down the hallway to your left. Open the next door, which leads back to the start of the level. Open the door across the hallway to fight an Imp, then turn around and kill the one that spawned behind you. Another Revenant will come in from the adjacent room, so be prepared.
Move into the Site 3 Hub and enter the "Garage" door again. Kill the Imp that spawns behind you and keep moving to the next room. Use your security clearance to open the cabin doors and step inside to ride to the next area - kill the two Imps in the area, then grab the items behind the elevator and get on board to complete the level.
Caverns Area 1

Activate the service lift to reach the lower levels of the Caverns.

Caverns Area 1 Overview
TIP: Use rapid-fire weapons against quick-moving enemies to take them down faster.
Step out of the elevator and retreat back into it as a swarm of Trites will attack. Grab the armor littering the floor, then head through the hole in the floor under the stairs to find some grenades. Head upstairs and shoot the Imp hiding in the dark.
As you follow the catwalk, a pair of Wraiths attacks. Move through two doors and kill the Imp that spawns ahead of you - through the third door, you'll find a control panel. Use it, kill the two Wraiths that spawn in, and head through the door to Base 1 Junction 1 - kill the Chaingun Commando that's walking away, oblivious of you. Head straight down the hallway to kill some Wraiths, and keep moving.
Take a left in the hallway to enter the Containment Monitoring room, equip the Soul Cube, and walk forward - an Archvile spawns. Take it down quickly, then head downstairs to the right and shoot the Wraiths and Imp that spawn in. Kill the Chaingun Commando that pops out of the door you used to enter, then keep moving to the next room.
An Imp will spawn ahead of you, leading a swarm of Trites. Stay behind the door frame and funnel them to take them down easily, and then enter the room to collect the items on the platform. The next door leads to the caverns - to the right is a ladder you can climb to get more ammo, and then climb on top of the building by using the ladder across the way.
Two Cacodemons spawn nearby as you reach the roof - from the top of the building you can enter the Heavy Lift Control room. Use the control panel in the first room and turn right, enter the first door, and grab the ammo from the shelves on your right. Call the lift and ride it down to the lower level, then grab the Rockets across the room from you and watch out for the Trites that swarm in. Kill them, and then exit the building via the lower door.
A Hellknight will spawn in front of you - kill it, then take out the three Imps that spawn afterward. Take the large elevator down to the shaft, grabbing the BFG Cells and armor at the sides of the elevator shaft - just don't let the elevator get too far away.
When you reach the bottom, you'll need to fight three Hellknights - use the Soul Cube on one, then take out the other two with your BFG. After you clean house, enter the door at the end of the room to enter the next section.
Move forward and stop when the ceiling begins to fall in - when the shaking stops, continue on with the Shotgun equipped and take out the Wraith that appears. Keep to the right, and watch out for the floor panels that fall out from under you. An Imp drops into the fray, with a Chaingun Commando buddy close behind, so take them down and keep moving.
Further up and around the corner is another Imp, with some health and Shotgun ammo. You'll find another Chaingun Commando when you head down the hallway towards the large door at the end. Head inside, run across the platform, and kill the Imp on the other side. Five Cacodemons (yes, five) will spawn in the open area - shoot them, then use the ladder on your right.
There's a large crane that you need to use to get across the cavern - move it to the right and the extend it out. With the crane in position, climb out of the cabin on the right and you'll find a ladder to get on the top of the crane - head up, walk down the crane, and drop off the end onto the stuff underneath you. To avoid damage on your last drop, fall on the pipes. When you get to the bottom, take out the Imp and Cacodemon that show up.
Health and armor awaits you inside the pipes, as well as a Medkit in the room ahead. Kill the Imp and enter the next door to find some armor and rockets under the platform you're current on, and more armor sits on the right side of the room. Open the middle door and backpedal to the platform, taking out the Imps and Wraiths that spawn in the room. Call the elevator in the center and head up to take cover from the Hellknight that comes with the elevator (a packaged deal). Once he dies, take the elevator down to the lower level.
When you step forward, an Archvile spawns - take it out with the Soul Cube, then kill off his summoned Imps and Wraiths. Head down the tunnel ahead of you, and fight off the Imp that shows up before you step through the door to the open cavern area.
A Cacodemon and Chaingun Commando are on the other side of the cavern, and they'll take an interest in you as soon as you move forward. Don't step in the center of the room (it'll damage you), cross the room and grab the items in the storage room before you take the elevator down to complete the level.
